Basic and QDS Seeds Multiplication and Distribution

What it is: Our core service focuses on the production of high-quality seeds to ensure food security and high yields for farmers. We operate within two critical seed classes:
•    Basic Seeds: These are high-purity seeds produced under the strictest supervision. They serve as the foundation for further seed multiplication.
•    Quality Declared Seeds (QDS): This is a specialized seed class designed for smallholder farmers. QDS ensures that the seeds meet specific quality standards (germination rate, purity, and health) even when produced in decentralized systems.
Our Process:
1.    Selection: Sourcing elite parent materials.
2.    Multiplication: Growing seeds under rigorous field standards in Tigray.
3.    Distribution: Providing farmers with accessible, high-yielding garlic and vegetable seeds.
